ABOUT TECHNOMOS AI

Experienced judgment. Technical depth.

TechNomos AI was built on the conviction that excellent patent work requires both experienced legal judgment and genuine technical fluency — not one at the expense of the other.

THE FIRM

Built around technical outcomes, not legal process.

TechNomos AI was founded on a simple premise: that the companies doing the most technically sophisticated work in the world deserve patent counsel that can engage with that work at the same level. Most patent firms are structured around legal process. We are structured around technical outcomes.

Every engagement begins with a detailed technical assessment — not a form, not a standard intake questionnaire, but an actual engineering conversation with people who have the background to understand what you’ve built and why it matters. The filing strategy follows from that understanding. We use AI as a tool under direct attorney supervision to deliver more rigorous analysis, stronger claim drafts, and cleaner portfolio tracking — without sacrificing the professional judgment that makes patents defensible.

THE TEAM

The people behind the strategy.

A small team with deep roots in both the law and the science. Every member brings domain expertise that most firms have to hire from the outside.

Bill Barrett, CEO of TechNomos AI

Bill Barrett

Deep Tech IP Strategy

Bill Barrett helps technology companies turn complex innovation into durable patent positions. His work centers on life sciences, diagnostics, computational biology, AI, and other deep-tech platforms, with prior intellectual property strategy leadership roles at Illumina and GRAIL.

For more than 25 years, Bill has advised inventors, founders, and growth-stage companies on patent portfolios that support financing, product development, strategic partnerships, and exits. At TechNomos, he leads a patent and technology practice built for companies that need practical legal judgment, technical fluency, and disciplined use of AI to move faster without losing strategic control.

Steven Gore, CTO and Patent Agent at TechNomos AI

He holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.S. in Bioinformatics, giving him a practical foundation across biological systems, engineering principles, and computational methods.

Adeline Webb, Patent Agent at TechNomos AI

Adeline Webb

Neurobiology + Life Sciences

Adeline Webb helps turn inventor disclosures into patent strategies that are clear, technically grounded, and commercially useful. Her work spans mechanical systems, medical devices, life sciences technologies, and design protection, where patent quality depends on understanding both engineering detail and claim-scope consequences.

At TechNomos, Adeline supports patent drafting, prosecution, invention evaluation, and portfolio development. She assists with application materials, office action analysis, claim amendments, and inventor-facing prosecution support, bringing practical patent prosecution experience and interdisciplinary technical judgment to each matter.

HOW WE WORK

Three principles. One firm.

We built TechNomos AI around the conviction that excellent patent work is where experienced judgment and disciplined technology meet.

01

Experienced Legal Judgment

Our attorneys and patent agents bring decades of prosecution and portfolio strategy experience across the most technically demanding fields. Legal judgment is the foundation everything else is built on.

02

Deep Technical Fluency

Understanding an invention at the level of a technical co-founder is what allows us to identify the strongest claim positions. We study the science and the competitive landscape — not just the filing requirements.

03

Disciplined Use of AI

We use AI to enhance — not replace — attorney judgment. From prior art research to claim drafting, AI tools at TechNomos operate under direct attorney supervision and are held to the same professional standards as any other legal work product.
